A part of Advarra Consulting, Sherry Felchlin, PMP, brings over 20 years of IRB operations management and professional project management experience.  Sherry has held several senior-level positions in the IRB field and has collaborated with numerous institutional IRBs around the country to integrate their operations with a major independent IRB.  A substantial part of Sherry’s prior roles involved working extensively with institutional IRBs to identify and improve gaps in internal IRB operations and implementing best practices. Sherry earned her degree in Zoology/Biology from Colorado State University, followed by a Master’s level work in Molecular Genetics and Biochemistry from the University of Houston, where she was a grant recipient. Sherry held her Certified IRB Professional (CIP) certification for over 13 years.

In addition to her IRB management and project management positions, Sherry is an active member of several research organizations, including Drug Information Association (DIA), Public Responsibility in Medicine & Research (PRIM&R), and the Association of Clinical Research Professionals. She also a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI).
