The hour-long session will address current campus operational expectations, policies, services, safety, and issues related to increasing onsite research activities including the next phase for clinical and laboratory research. Research Resilience – COVID-19 Research Coordination Task Force

The UCSF COVID-19 Research Coordination Task Force was established to identify and prioritize operational challenges that impact basic and clinical research on COVID-19, with the longer term goal of enhancing our institutional response to future pandemics. This town hall will introduce the task force and its work to date. We will discuss the challenges and solutions that were rapidly identified over the spring and summer to enable COVID-19 research, as this has direct impact on clinical, translational, and basic science research.

Research Resilience – Special Session on Clinical Research Operations during COVID-19

This town hall will be specifically aimed at the Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) and study team community. In the hour-and-a-half session, we will discuss clinical research operations topics pertinent to the tasks and workflows of CRCs during the time of COVID-19. We will also introduce a new training resource for study teams related to clinical research during COVID-19, and select CRCs will highlight how their studies have adapted to pandemic guidelines, showcasing the great work and responsiveness of study teams during this time.
