The Office of Research is preparing for the upcoming AAALAC International site visit. The visit is essential for our re-accreditation process and will take place sometime in February or March 2025.

What this means for you

Starting immediately, animal researchers should be prepared for unannounced visits from the Institutional Animal Care and Use Program (IACUP), the Laboratory Animal Resource Center (LARC), and Environment, Health and Safety (EH&S). These will be in addition to the upcoming IACUC semi-annual inspections.
