The UCSF Office of Research is the collective of administrative units that support research across UCSF. Together, these teams help researchers navigate the research process, access resources and expertise, meet regulatory and institutional requirements, and advance discoveries.

About the Vice Chancellor for Research Office
The Vice Chancellor for Research Office provides strategic leadership and coordination to advance UCSF's research mission. The office works across the UCSF research community and Office of Research units, engages with university leadership and institutional partners, and advocates for UCSF research with government agencies and policymakers.
Through advocacy, communications, and operations, the office helps advance UCSF priorities, strengthen partnerships, and foster an environment in which UCSF research can thrive.
