The Office of Research is excited to launch the Research Resilience Initiative (RRI). Led by Associate Vice Chancellor for Research Opportunity and Impact (AVC-ROI), and with partnership from Associate Vice Chancellor for Clinical Research and the UCSF ARCHES Program external site (opens in a new window), RRI aims to assist researchers affected by federal policy changes in obtaining new funding.
RRI will provide the following support:
Seminars for early-career researchers to discuss research funding opportunities and approaches, and to build community and social support.
Seminars on obtaining grants from non-NIH and non-federal funders.
Grant-writing consultation services.
RRI also provides a mini-grant program (funded by the EVCP through philanthropy) to help at-risk and early-career researchers prepare new grant proposals.
