The Office of Research's Research Community-Building Small Grants Program, supported by the Vice Chancellor for Research, will provide one-time funds of up to $10,000 to support activities that build engagement and collaboration to support equity and belonging for the UCSF research community.
More Information
While this program funds up to $10K, we welcome proposals of smaller nominal value.
Examples include:
- Initiatives that enrich UCSF’s research community
- Conferences that facilitate research engagement and collaboration
- Events that bring new research ideas and perspectives to UCSF
- Purchases that enable research community building at UCSF
Examples that are not included:
- Funding for research studies
- Research staff or graduate student effort
- Technology support purchases (i.e., laptops)
Eligible applicants include all members of the UCSF research community: faculty, staff, trainees, and community members.
