Mary Catherine “MC” Gaisbauer is the Business and Integration Manager reporting to Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer and Senior Associate Vice Chancellor of Research for UCSF. In this role, she is responsible for the research integration of the UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital of Oakland and other major research related strategic projects. She has a strong public sector financial background with a focus on research administration, international operations, and business process improvement. Previously, she served as UCSF’s Assistant Controller, Contracts and Grants Accounting, and as the controller at several major US research institutions and a global public consultant/auditor. MC holds a BBA in Accounting from Texas Tech University.
